School of Management and Business Studies is a regular statutory department for Management Studies in Mahatma Gandhi University. This School had a humble beginning on 25th March 1995 with a two-year full-time MBA programme for the management aspirants with the objective of molding enterprising youth into career-oriented and competent management professionals. SMBS was incorporated in the year 1998 as a statutory department of Mahatma Gandhi University with a two year full time MBA programme with the objective of grooming next generation managers as professionally competent and socially responsible citizens
